Have you ever noticed that naturally, women are like cats, always with their claws out ready to attack? When I say naturally or by nature, I mean, before the state of enlightenment i.e. before dealing with insecurities, identity, self worth etc
Imagine going to a party etc. girls are always eyeing each other with these catty vibes.
You know that look up then down etc trying to make you feel small or to let you know some “things”. And there is no reason for doing this, it’s not like there is a guy that they are both trying to lure (remove the guy from the situation). Or think about a club, girls are always looking down on each other. Or they might do it with a smile or a little grin. It’s like there’s a grand competition.
Woman vs. woman.
You see this everywhere. The competition is also seen when woman compare each other “she’s fat/thin… she’s such an attention seeker… my outfit is finer… she’s such a snob… who does she think she is..."
All these judgments are made from a point of looking at ones self and making a comparison and can be made from a place of insecurity. Like the previous post noted, “project their insecurities onto other women”
And the bridge is friendship. With girlfriends, it’s the opposite. You’re never fat or ugly or annoying, you always dressing each other up so you both look hott.
It’s easier for woman to tear each other down than to build each other up. On the point of “nature”… It is more natural to find fault than it is to complement.
A real friend would never put herself in the position of being a potential “other woman”. Why?... because your happiness is hers. There is a connection. In a way, one could say that her friend is a part of her so it doesn’t make sense to hurt herself.
What I’m trying to say is that as woman, we are not united. We see ourselves as separate from each other and therefore what I take from you, doesn’t harm me, further more, I win the competition i.e. “he wants me more”… “I must be prettier”… etc etc and that’s not really the reality (see the previous post)
The truth is what you do affects me, and what I do affects you.
Looking a the scenario from the previous post, the bastard or fatherless child is being supported by our taxes and closer to home could grow up to be a thief and come knocking at your door and mess things up or end up doing the same to your daughter. It’s all a vicious circle.
What we do to each other determines the core of our society, our beliefs on what is wrong or right, my perceived right vs. justice, how people should be treated etc. In the end, an extreme scenario of continuing this way, we all become the other woman, bitter and broken, the fatherless children grow up to hate the opposite sex violating them… imagine the chaos!
I see the whole idea of “the other woman” as a society thing i.e. the “natural” way we relate to each other. Our claws are out.
I ask myself the question, how many woman do I build up? Especially when I see them for the first time. If I’m not building up, I am tearing down. No action is the same as tearing down.
But this can only be done from a “good, solid, and secure” place. The idea of the bridge I mentioned earlier. From recognizing that we are connected, at the worst, I’ll just have more conversation, real chats, less superficial stuff
